NHTrust and MVSB Celebrate Sisters Day with Donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH

In celebration of National Sisters Day (August 3), sister companies, NHTrust and MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank),  surprised Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire (BBBSNH) with a $1,000 donation. The contribution supports BBBSNH’s mission to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-on-one relationships.

“We’re incredibly grateful to MVSB and NHTrust for this donation and for their continued support of our programs,” said Tim Kneuer, Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire. “Their involvement helps us sustain impactful mentorships, empowering young people to reach their full potential.”

NHTrust and MVSB share a strong commitment to supporting the communities they serve, often collaborating on initiatives that benefit local organizations and individuals.

“MVSB is proud to partner with NHTrust to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire,” said Cindy Hemeon-Plessner, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at MVSB. “As a ‘Big’ I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of mentorship and the lasting, positive impact it has on young lives. This donation reflects our shared values and our dedication to strengthening our communities.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH is a 501(3)c nonprofit organization that provides youth mentoring services to the state of New Hampshire. Their programs include mentoring children of incarcerated parents, children involved with the juvenile courts, children with disabilities, children in foster homes, children from homes with substance abuse, children who identify as LGBTQ+ and children who are at risk of dropping out of high school.  Each of their quality one-to-one mentoring relationships is the result of the following professional responsibilities, which are critical to successfully carrying out our mission.
