NHTrust Sponsors Maps Counseling Wellness Festival

We are pleased to announce we have provided a $1,000 sponsorship to the Maps Counseling Services Wellness Festival to support fundraising efforts for their Hope and Healing Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to clients who are uninsured or under insured so they can seek quality mental health care options. The Hope and Healing Fund also assists Maps to provide free support groups in their community. Currently they offer two groups; one for individuals with cancer, and another for grandparents raising grandchildren. The Wellness Festival is Saturday, May 21st from 9am to 4pm at the United Church of Christ at 23 Central Square in Keene.

Maps Counseling Services is the largest independent provider of outpatient psychotherapy services in the Monadnock Region. They are committed to ensuring their communities have access to effective counseling and psychotherapy services regardless of economic status and serve more than 1,000 individuals or families each year.

“We are thrilled to have the support of NHTrust for this year’s Wellness Festival!” said Bethann Clauss, Executive Director of Maps Counseling Services. “This festival is a free event that allows us to bring together wellness services and products to educate community members about options that may enhance their wellbeing. We’ll have wellness activities for both adults and children all day.”

“NHTrust is happy to support this wellness initiative in our community,” noted Mike Rafferty, Senior VP, Senior Trust Officer for NHTrust. “This festival provides wellness educational options to many people who each year are navigating life’s challenges and represents the values of our local communities – neighbors helping neighbors.”
